Will you be doing any specialty pies for the holiday’s? My girlfriend would love a sweet potato pie…mainly because I lost a bet. I offered to make her two, but she wants PJ pies!

We do Sweet Potato every day, so you are welcome to call the store (447-PIES) and order the day before you would like it. (That said, we are streamlining our thanksgiving selections in order to produce as many pies as possible and so we will not offer Sweet Potato on November 23, 24, or 25).

What’s the difference between your American apple and Dutch apple pies? (And what goes into the drunken apple pie to make it drunk? 😉 )

Hi There – Our American Apple has a solid crust top. The Dutch Apple has a brown sugar/butter crumble topping. The Drunken Apple has an apple liquor in it (the alcohol bakes out, but you get a nice kick to the flavor).

My daughter brought home a strawberry rhubarb pie. What a great pie. I am hooked. Looking forward to more pies. Can’t wait to try the Almond Rum Raspberry. Thanks again.

We received a caramel apple pie but there was no directions as to how long it goes in the oven and how long. Can you help us out?

      Hi There!

Our pies are fully baked, so it is ready to eat. If you would like to warm it up in the oven, you can put the pie on a cookie sheet in a 250 degree oven for 20 minutes and it will be delicious!

My parents sent us a 6 pack here in Washington. It’s AMAZING. However, I want to freeze a couple jars and my cat stole the instructions card. He’s a jerk. I know I have to thaw them for 30 minutes but I can’t remember what to do next. Also, thanks for the fast delivery! She ordered them and I got them 2 days later!

      Hi There!

I have two cats, so this question sounds COMPLETELY NORMAL to me! You’ll just put the jars in the freezer (lids on). When you are ready to eat, I would take it out of the freezer and remove the lid. Let the jar defrost at room temperature for an hour or so and then put the jar on a cookie sheet and into a low oven, around 250 degrees for 15-20 minutes. When it is heated through, you are ready to go! Be careful, the jar will be SUPER hot when it comes out of the oven. Enjoy!

I am staying in Columbia the night of June 13th on my way to my mom’s house for her 92nd birthday the next day. I want to bring her a pie sampler, but we must leave before 10:30 am. Is there any way we can pick up the pie early (please someone meet me at the back door & slip me the package!) We are driving cross country from Atlanta to Seattle with a stop at my mom’s — that’s why time is of the essence!
Thanks so much! I understand if you can’t (sad face)

Hi Deborah! Sadly, we are closed on Mondays (and that is the 13th). Are you staying in Columbia the night of the 13th? We could do early in the morning on Tuesday, if that would work? Email me at rebecca@pjpies.com and we will figure something out!

Do you offer any gluten free options? My husband’s birthday is coming up and he requested Peggy Jeans Pies but I reminded him they’re not gluten free. He gets headaches from gluten. Anyway, just thought I’d check before I went on to a different option. Thank you!

      Hi There!

We do offer gluten free! We can do anything on the menu for you with the exception of the Dutch Apple, Caramel Apple, and Peach Praline. We don’t stock the gluten free in the shop, but if you just call us the day before you need it and order, we will have you all ready to go! Our number is 447-PIES.

Cherry, pumpkin, peach praline, blackberry, banana cream, key lime. It was the best day of my life. I feel like I need to thank you ladies for making my birthday so wonderful!!!! THANK YOU!!!

      Hi There –

Our baby pies (5 inch) are $7 (fruit and cream flavors) or $8 for nut flavors. Our nine inch pies are $17.75 (fruit), $18.50 (cream), and $20.50 (nut). Those serve six to eight slices, depending on how generously you cut!

Hi! My dad really wants a mince meat pie for Christmas. Any chance you make those? (I think it sounds gross!) But I’m sure a PJP mince meat pie would be good!
    Thanks,

    Sarah
